When Congress decides to throw the uninsured in jail, what really happens? Worker at small businesses will be forced to organize to force their employer to provide benefits that they cannot afford. Unionized big business wins. Small business close. Dems payoff campaign debts to large corporations and unions by eliminating the little guy.
They don’t care about our economy, just their crooked pockets.
By making the collection of insurance fines a function of the IRS you are guilty of not paying you taxes, if you cannot afford it. You go to jail for not paying your taxes unless you are an Obama cabinet official.
By passing the jail threat to the employee of a small business that cannot afford insurance, they most certainly will need to look back to their employers for insurance or wage increases.

If Business can organize themselves into Corporations, why can’t WORKERS organize into Unions without being harrassed by their employers? Obviously being in a Union has more advantages than disadvantages otherwise Businesses wouldn’t fight so hard to keep them out. Well, being a Corporation obviously has more benefits than liabilities, otherwise why would any company choose to become a corporation? Aren’t Corporations a kind of Union? It has members who are all represented under one legal entity, just like a union. They have the the ability to make by-laws, which govern its internal affairs just like a union…See where I’m going with this? If it’s good enough for BIG Business it should be good enough for those who work for big business.

A business is an organization, but it’s not automatically a CORPORATION. Workers need to guarantee they receive adequate wages and benefits, especially when Companies like Wal-Mart pay low wages and don’t offer adequate Medical benefits.
You only know the politics of FEAR. Unions don’t lock a business into only hiring from their union. On average union workers receive higher pay than non-union workers and your claims about productivity and “dragging companies down” are debatable at best. Porr business decisions “drag companies down” not better wages. If employees receive hire wages, they’re more loyal and harder worker. Look at Wegman’s a supermarket that pays well and provides employees with benefits and doesn’t need a union. Why? Because of the pay rate and benefits and their employees are extremely loyal. It was named the #1 business for which to work in ’05. The only thing destroying American companies is their own greed & willingness to move to cheaper labor markets, not unions.
“Most people oppose unions” because their employers will cut the hours or harass employees who even mention unions at work. People “oppose” unions because their employers use intimidation and harassment and the employees are afraid to lose their jobs. I’ve seen it first hand.
As I’ve said, cutting an employees hours can be a form of harassment and one which an employer can use and still manage to justify.
There ya go, PFO, as one of your fellow Pro-Corporation buddies said, “Corporations have no responsibility to their employees or to the public, only to their shareholders.” So why should their employees or the public have loyalty towards them? Weird double standard you have, eh?
